They also offer preferred rooms (closer to the lobby/transportation) and dedicated king bed rooms, in addition to the infamous royal guest rooms with a princess feel.

 

Horse-drawn carriage rides, Surrey bike rentals, and campfires on de’ bayou are just a few of the unique activities available at this New Orlean’s style resort. The movies under the stars at the themed pools and playgrounds are also favorites for the littles.

Gran Destino Tower is the brand new tower of the resort which includes standard views, water views, king rooms. Club Level is also offered in the tower: standard rooms & suites.

 

Be sure to check out the Fuentes del Morro Pool offers a zero-entry and waters slides. Then hop over to any of the other 5 leisure pools. Pirate Adventure Cruises, movies under the stars, campfire activities, volleyball & the playgrounds are just a few of the many activities for both kids and grown-ups.

 

Sebastian’s Bistro, Centertown Market, and Spyglass Grill are great options for breakfast, lunch, dinner & snacks. Banana Cabana offers a variety of grown-up drink options.

Wilderness Cabins accommodate 6 guests plus a child under the age of 3. These cabins have 1 queen bed, 1 bunk bed, and 1 double-size sleeper sofa. Campsites are also available for tents, pop-up campers, and RVs.

 

Fort Wilderness is such a unique location with the Tri-Circle-D Ranch offering pony, wagon & carriage rides. Archery, canoe rentals, bike rentals, trails and Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Longs are just a few of the other activities offered only at Fort Wilderness. Don’t forget to grab a golf cart for rides!

 

Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is a hilarious dinner show enjoyed by all ages. Trail’s End Restaurant, The Chuck Wagon, P & J’s Southern Takeout, and Meadow Snack Bar offer great southern foods. Crockett’s Tavern offers a variety of grown-up drink options.

Disney's Contemporary Resort

There are 2 areas of this resort: Garden Wing & Main Tower. Main Tower rooms are located in the main building that the monorail goes through. The Garden Wing is farther in the back of the resort past the main tower. Main Tower rooms offer lake views & theme park views. Garden Wing rooms offer standard & garden views as well as deluxe rooms. There are also dedicated Garden Wing King Rooms. Club level is also offered: standard rooms, 1 bedroom suites & 2 bedroom suites.

 

The 17-foot-high, curving waterslide at the Contemporary is like no other! There is also a wonderful futuristic water playground with fountains & spouts great for the littles. Enjoy a resort day with a private cabana at the pool. Boat rentals, campfires, fireworks voyages, and movies under the stars are a few favorites!

 

Chef Mickey and California Grill are fan favorites located at the Contemporary. Other dining options include The Wave...of American Flavors, Contempo Cafe’, and Contemporary Grounds. The Wave Lounge, Outer Rim, The Sand Bar & Cove Bar offer a variety of grown-up drink options.

Other dining options include Grand Floridian Cafe, Narcoossee’s, Citricos, Beaches Pool Bar & Grill, and Victoria & Albert’s. There are also standard view rooms which offer 2 queen beds or 1 king bed + 1 day bed. Club level is also offered: garden, lagoon & theme park views, as well as 1 bedroom suites.

 

The Lava features a 142 foot-long waterslide, a zero entry & a nearby splash pad that is wonderful for the littles. You can see the castle straight ahead, as you sit and watch your littles play in the water. Enjoy a resort day with a private oasis patio at the pool. Hula Dance lessons, Lava Pool parties, Disney Trivia, Bingo, Boat rentals, and campfires are a few of our favorites! There’s something about this resort that makes me want to stay there forever!

 

Ohana breakfast & dinner are fan favorites located at the Polynesian. The Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show includes a delicious meal, Hawiaan-themed show, fire throwing & more. Other dining options include Kona Cafe, Oasis Bar & Grill, On the Green Grill, and Capt. Cook’s. You can also enjoy a Dole Whip while looking straight out at the Magic Kingdom castle. Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace, Barefoot Pool Bar, Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, and Tambu Lounge offer a variety of grown-up drink options, including my very favorite Lapu Lapu!

Copper Creek Springs Pool features a 67 foot-long waterslide with hot and cold areas. There’s also a great activity section for kids. If you’re looking for a more laid-back pool, check out the Boulder Ridge Cove Pool.  Boat rentals, arcades, jogging trails, boat rentals, movies under the stars, and campfires are a few of our favorites!

 

The new & exciting Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White is a hard to get dining reservation due to its popularity. Other great dining options include Whispering Canyon Cafe’, GEyser Point Bar & Grill, and Roaring Fork. Territory Lounge offers a variety of grown-up drink options.

Standard, Pool, and Savanna views accommodate 4 guests plus a child under the age of 3. These rooms have 2 queen beds. There are dedicated king rooms: standard, pool, and savanna views. Club level is also offered: savanna view king, standard/savanna view 1-bedroom suites & Royal Asante Presidential Suite.

 

Uzima Springs Pool features a 67 foot-long waterslide with zero entry access. You can also visit the pool at Kidani Village! The Hakuna Matata Playground, Pumbaa’s arcade, movies under the stars, Wild About Painting events, and savanna viewings all throughout the resort are a few of our favorites! The offerings at this resort are like no other! 

 

Boma is a favorite to many for their breakfast and dinner. Other great dining options include Sanaa, Jiko - The Cooking Place, Maji Pool Bar & The Mara. Sanaa Lounge, Uzima Springs Pool Bar, Victoria Falls Lounge, & Cape Town Lounge and Wine Bar offer a variety of grown-up drink options. Jiko Wine Tasting is a great tour to explore South African wines. Ask about the private savanna dining experiences.

Luna Park Pool features a 200 foot-long waterslide that resembles a 1920s theme park with a huge clown around the water. There are also adult spas and kiddie pools for the littles. The Luna Park Crazy play area for littles is great on a hot day with elephant sprayers. There are also 2 leisure pools with whirlpool spas. The Boardwalk is known for their activities on the lawn including movies, videogames & yoga! Surrey bike rentals are also available to rent & ride along the boardwalk. Also, check out Fantasia Gardens & Fairways Miniature Golf that’s right around the corner! 

 

The Boardwalk is known for a variety of food options for all meals + lots of snack options: Flying Fish, Big River Grille & Brewing Works, ESPN Club, Trattoria al Forno, Boardwalk Bakery, Ample Hills Creamery, Funnel Cake Cart, Pizza Window, The To-Go Cart and more. Leaping Horse Libations, BoardWalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas, Belle Vue Lounge, and AbracadaBar offer a variety of grown-up drink options.

Stormalong Bay is one of the most popular pools on Disney property. This sand-bottom pool takes up 3 acres of space with a lazy river, 230-foot-long waterslide, 3 spas, and more. In addition to Stormalong Bay, there are 3 leisure pools. Pool cabanas are also available to rent. Other fun activities include movies under the stars, boat rentals, pirate cruises, campfires and arcades. Also, check out Fantasia Gardens & Fairways Miniature Golf that’s right around the corner! 

 

The Beach Club houses some of our favorite meals: Beaches & Cream & Cape May Cafe. Other dining options include Martha’s Vineyard, Beach Club Marketplace, and Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside. Martha’s Vineyard and pool-side bars offer a variety of grown-up drink options. The Beach Club is within walking distance of the Yacht Club, so check out the dining for both locations as well as options on the Boardwalk.

Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

Deluxe studios offer 1 queen bed and 1 queen-size sleeper sofa with a kitchenette & porch/balcony. These accommodate up to 4 guests plus a child under the age of 3. One, two, and three-bedroom villas are also available with a variety of view options sleeping up to 12 guests. These come with a full kitchen, living room, washer/dryer, and porch/balcony. Stunning two-bedroom cabins are also offered with 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 1 queen-size sleeper sofa, 1 single pull down bed, and 1 twin-size sleeper chair. These have a full kitchen, living room and private porch with hot tub.

 

Copper Creek Springs Pool features a 67 foot-long waterslide with hot and cold areas. There’s also a great activity section for kids. If you’re looking for a more laid-back pool, check out the Boulder Ridge Cove Pool.  Boat rentals, arcades, jogging trails, boat rentals, movies under the stars, and campfires are a few of our favorites!

Uzima Springs Pool features a 67 foot-long waterslide with zero entry access. You can also visit the pool at Kidani Village! The Hakuna Matata Playground, Pumbaa’s arcade, movies under the stars, Wild About Painting events, and savanna viewings all throughout the resort are a few of our favorites! The offerings at this resort are like no other! 

 

Boma is a favorite to many for their breakfast and dinner. Other great dining options include Sanaa, Jiko - The Cooking Place, Maji Pool Bar & The Mara. Sanaa Lounge, Uzima Springs Pool Bar, Victoria Falls Lounge, & Cape Town Lounge and Wine Bar offer a variety of grown-up drink options. Jiko Wine Tasting is a great tour to explore South African wines. Ask about the private savanna dining experiences.

Luna Park Pool features a 200 foot-long waterslide that resembles a 1920s theme park with a huge clown around the water. There are also adult spas and kiddie pools for the littles. The Luna Park Crazy play area for littles is great on a hot day with elephant sprayers. There are also 2 leisure pools with whirlpool spas. The Boardwalk is known for their activities on the lawn including movies, videogames & yoga! Surrey bike rentals are also available to rent & ride along the boardwalk. Don’t forget the many activities in the Community Hall. Also, check out Fantasia Gardens & Fairways Miniature Golf that’s right around the corner! 

 

The Boardwalk is known for a variety of food options for all meals + lots of snack options: Flying Fish, Big River Grille & Brewing Works, ESPN Club, Trattoria al Forno, Boardwalk Bakery, Ample Hills Creamery, Funnel Cake Cart, Pizza Window, The To-Go Cart and more. Leaping Horse Libations, BoardWalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas, Belle Vue Lounge, and AbracadaBar offer a variety of grown-up drink options.

Stormalong Bay is one of the most popular pools on Disney property. This sand-bottom pool takes up 3 acres of space with a lazy river, 230-foot-long waterslide, 3 spas, and more. In addition to Stormalong Bay, there are 3 leisure pools. Pool cabanas are also available to rent. Other fun activities include movies under the stars, boat rentals, pirate cruises, campfires and arcades. Also, check out Fantasia Gardens & Fairways Miniature Golf that’s right around the corner! 

 

The Beach Club houses some of our favorite meals: Beaches & Cream & Cape May Cafe. Other dining options include Martha’s Vineyard, Beach Club Marketplace, and Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside. Martha’s Vineyard and pool-side bars offer a variety of grown-up drink options.

Disney’s Riviera Resort (New)

Deluxe Studios accommodate up to 5 guests plus a child under the age of 3. These rooms have 1 queen bed, 1 queen-size sleeper sofa, and 1 single pull down bed. They also include a kitchenette & porch/balcony. Views include: Standard and Preferred. Tower studios are also available and accommodate up to 2 guests plus a child under the age of 3. These rooms have 1 queen size pull down bed. They include a flexible living space & private balcony. One, two, and three-bedroom villas are also available sleeping up to 12 guests. Villas come with a full kitchen, living room, washer/dryer, and balcony. 

 

This brand new Disney resort has a huge pool with a winding water slide, as well as a wonderful splash pad area for the littles. The Beau Soleil Pool is also available for a more relaxed pool setting. There’s also a wonderful activity area with European-style games including a large chess set, bocce ball & more. For those wanting to stay in shape while on vacation, check out the Athletique Fitness Center.

 

Riviera Resort is known for their mediterranean food offerings. Topolino’s Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera, Le Petit Cafe, Primo Piatto offer a variety of meals and snacks. Bar Riva offers a variety of grown-up drink options.

Old Key West is like a second home to many. The Sandcastle pool has a 125-foot-long waterslide & sandbar, along with Disney character theming throughout. There are also 3 Leisure Pools throughout the resort. The littles will enjoy checking out the 3 different playgrounds available. Other fun activities include several gamerooms, Surrey Bike Rentals, movies under the stars, campfires and the Conch Flats Community Hall. 

 

Looking for comfort food? Check out Olivia’s Cafe. This is a hidden gem. Good’s Food to Go and Turtle Shack Poolside Snacks offer a variety of meals and snacks. Gurgling Suitcase Libations & Spirits offers a variety of grown-up drink options. Old Key West is just a boat ride away from Disney Springs, where there are tons of food options as well.

Saratoga Springs is like a little community of its own. The High Rock Spring Pool has a 128-foot-long waterslide and The Paddock Pool has a 146-foot-long waterslide. There are also 3 Leisure Pools throughout the resort. The littles will enjoy checking out the 3 different playgrounds available. Other fun activities include Surrey Bike Rentals, movies under the stars, arcades, campfires and the Community Hall. Care to play a round of golf? Check out Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course. 

 

The Turf Club Bar & Grill, The Artist’s Palette, The Paddock Grill, Backstretch Pool Bar, and Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Cafe’ offer a variety of meals and snacks.
